Craft Club projects...Embossing folder

One of the projects we are doing on our Craft night is making a Rose using one of the Creative Expressions  embossing folder shown above... then make a complete card using the Rose they have made and also using the folder as a backing paper.  Here are some of my samples:

The two cards above I have inked the embossing folder before running the folder through my embossing machine.
A very simple white and silver card....
For this card I used cor-dinations paper ran it through my Bigshot then sanded it down...used 3 nesties and a sentiment as my focal point.
This was another inked embossed background but this time using a different side of the embossing folder...just added a few pearls and also used one of the 'flowers' for my sentiment.

Tomorrow I will post a couple of cards from the other project we did.

Oh Anne! Welcome back! I've missed your postings! I got very excited to see your cards today, as I also have this embossing folder, and I keep meaning to try this inking technique too! I love all your projects, and the pretty rose you made, what a fab embellishment! I may have to try this today myself!

I never even thought about using the embossing folder at the base of the Roses, proved by point that you learn something every day in crafting.

A lovely display of cards, I think my favourite has to be the first yellow and green green one,the colours are so fresh.

Beautiful group of cards Anne. Can't believe one can make so many different looks from the same folder. I've never tried sanding that paper although I have some & am going to give it a try. Thanks for the great inspiration.
Beautiful work.
Hugs, Janie
