Taking a break,.....

This will be my last post for a couple of weeks as I am taking a little break.

Had a great time in Taunton at the craft fair and I have used one of my new dies on my card, the pretty corner die from La La Crafts and also my new spellbinders embossing folder called Dainty dots.
I love the  Quatrefoil Pattern die from Spellbinders Our Daily Bread designs and  backing paper from LOTV....  Cherry Lynn Ivy Corner leaf flourish die, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  This is a new size card 7 x 7 which I also bough at Taunton.

It was lovely to meet Shirley (Nannyflash blog) sadly we didnt have chance to chat for long but its lovely to actually met fellow bloggers...

Still no main PC but slowly  getting the hang of posting from my iPad, my photos not brilliant but still working out how to use the photo editing app...need more practice on this..lOl...lOl....if anyone has any tips I would be grateful...

See you all in two weeks

Help please....

I have got problems with my main computer something to do with gmail I think as I have lost the headings from both my email and my blog so I am unable to post on my blog from my main computer. Another problem is I cannot attach files to send as I've also lost these icons..
Can anyone tell me how I upload photos from my iPad to be able to post on my blog until my PC is sorted out?
All this started when windows did updates this week..I have Windows 7 has anyone else had problems ...as I don't know whether its because of the updates or a PC problem ?

Thanks

Craft Night...

At Craft Club last night we did one project which was making a box card and a box to put it in...here are some of my samples...

For this card box I've used the M-Bossabilities Folder on the front and a Martha Stewart border punch...the paper and images are from the Heartfelt Asters Collection....for the inside I have used a Spellbinders rectangle frame die and a Cheery Lynn lacey border die around the edge of the frame, 3D  some  of the beautiful Aster flowers and added a Martha Stewart butterfly.

For the front of my Wedding card I've used Memory Box Classic  Alphabet dies and the Creative Expressions Heart Lattie die, and Memory Box hanging hearts.
For the inside a Cheery Lynne Border die,  Spellbinder Frame, Cheery Lynne Rose Leaf Flourish die and added Roses. The large tag die in left is a Sizzix die.

For the front of this card I've used one of the gorgeous LOTV images, just added glitter, Cheery Lynn swirl die and Joy daisy die flowers.
Martha Stewart border die, and the Spellbinders Lattice die...
The inside of the box I have left plain so you could pop some chocolates or a little gift inside.

My last card is another LOTV image...Front of card which for some reason has turned itself around when uploding...  Lattice Embossing folders, Marianne Wedding ring die and a bought Wedding sentiment.
Inside, Spellbinders A2 Filigree delight frame, ovals, and the rose leaf die...around the frame I've used one of the Stampin up border punches.

These box cards are so easy to make, they take a bit of prepping but well worth the end result....

Thanks for looking...

An Apple for the teacher....

One of my daughters asked me to make a couple of cards to give to her daughters teacher and also one for the class room assistant..

I have used Clearly Besotted 'Teachers Pet' Stamp set which is a great little set of stamps...Stephanie has some fabulous stamps on her website so please go and check her out if you've not visited her before.

The first card needed to be bright so I think it ticks all the boxes and the 2nd card I've kept CAS....

It started off cold and dull here  down in Somerset but the sun is now out and we have blue sky again....

Amelia....

I know its been a week since my last post but the weather has been so lovely its really been too nice to stay indoors...so we have been out and about quite a bit....but I have been taking a peek and seeing what you've all been up to!!

Just love this gorgeous image from Pink Gem Designs she is called Amelia...
The photo actually looks a bit wishy washy but it is more colourful in the 'flesh'.
I've coloured her with Copic pens....backing paper was a 'freebie' pack called Sweet Memories'..border punch is a Martha Stewart one and the corner is a Marianne die...

Hope you are all enjoying  the sunshine its very pleasant to sit out under the umbrella and colour with a nice cup of tea oh and the off bit of cake...
