Floral display...

This is an easel card I made for one of our club ladies as we have a birthday list in our Craft Club  and people have the option to join if they wish and as the birthday has now passed I can post my card.

This image is one of my favourite little stamps by Hobby Art called 'Floral Display'.  I made a frame using my scallop and round Nestabilites and raised the frame from the image.  Image coloured with pencils and 3D part of the flower... Also used is some dotty sparkle vellum on my card along with a dotty embossing folder and a little bit of lace.

Card Candy...

I had some fabulous card candy sent to me by my lovely blogging friend Loll Thompson...Loll makes the most beautiful cards so please check out her blog Stamping with Loll

Using Loll's candy I've actually made my first Christmas card and here it is:

I used Anna Marie's lovely pearlized cream card but unfortunately it looks white on the photograph.. Some of Loll's hand made poinsettias were glittered and so was some of the greenery and as the card was slightly sparkly I've used the glittered candy.
I've Kept my card simple by using Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight and using Spellbinders M-Bossibilities Dainty Dots folder.. Sentiment is computer generated...

Hope you've all had a good weekend despite the weather not being brilliant..

Pretty Pouty.....

Not a lot of time for blogging at the moment, my lovely Brother and SIL  have just spent a few days with us which was lovely but not long enough.

My lovely friend Sue who unfortunately doesn't have a blog sent me some lovely Loralie Toppers by Kanban and also a couple of pieces of Loralie fabric which I will do something with. I had never heard of Loralie fabrics until Sue mentioned them but they are fabulous with some great humorous images...

Just had enough time today to make up one card, the image is called  'Pretty Pouty'...just added some backing paper from Craft Creations, the corner die is a Marianne one, a scrap of embossed dotty card a little bit of ribbon and my card was made.

I've also had another lovely gift from my blogging friend Loll but hope to show on Tuesday....

We are on Babysitting duties over the bank holiday weekend but hope that 'normal services' will be resume on Tuesday.

Have a great weekend whatever you are doing..

Club Night.....

How quickly our monthly club night seems to come around only 4 more meetings before Christmas!!
Our projecs this month were   TRIPLE LAYER STAMPING and WHITE ON WHITE EMBOSSING using Cosmic Shimmer ultra fine white embossing powder.

Here are some of my samples for Triple layer stamping:

I used Stampin UP French Foliage stamp set, 4 different coloured ink pads, backing paper is also from S.U.

Stampin Up Elements of style stamp set and papers

Stamps from SU Papaya College set

White on white embossing samples:

This stamp is an old Stampendous Hydrangea stamp which I've coloured with   Art Quest Stargazers pearlescent paints...backing papers are from LOTV, and  Spellbinders corner dies
Hero Arts Large Blossom was used on this card, the stamp is a negative one which I thought would be different, stamped onto print papers, and coloured with copics..the white embossing powder covered the print really well...Nestie die frame, SU papers...

Hobby Art scribble flower used on this card...and coloured with pencils...backing papers are from Dovercraft called Garden Party, spellbinders dies, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch....

Baby card....

One of my neighbours asked me to make a card for her new granddaughter who is due to arrive in September....its a special baby because its an IVF baby  which has taken a long long time to get to this stage..  Angela knew what she wanted some knitting on cocktails sticks, lace, ribbon and pearls...hopefully she will be pleased with her card and 'Mum' too.
I had to buy the little knitted embellishments as I have given all my wool to charity only last month, isn't it typical?
Backing papers I have had for a very long time so I cant even tell you where they came from, the pretty corners are one of the La La land Dies, spellbinders tag die, Martha Stewart border punch and small flower punch.

Sorry the photographs not very good..

Thanks for stopping by

Back in the craft room.....

Our grandchildren were delivered home safe and sound yesterday afternoon....we've had a great week with them and have done things everyday.  One of the places we did visit was the Hawk Conservatory, Andover, just off the A303...what a fabulous place and the bird displays were amazing, such a great day out..

Just wanted to use my Cheery Lynne Mexican Tile die that has sat on my desks for a weeks unused......I also found this little Kingfisher image from one of Jane Netley Mayhew's CD....I've had to cut him down quite a bit to fit in the centre of the die.

I hope to have a quick look around blog land later to see what you've all been up to...
